This is my first boots ever and it didn't disappoint! I love supporting local products and glad I found Rob and Mara. The boots look sturdy witj quality stitches, genuine leather yet very lightweight. Better to add 1 size bigger than your actual for comfort. I'm happy size 9 fits me with allowance for thick socks. This boots will rock any season and fashion. Can't wait to wear it in EU this winter. Thank you and more power! :)
I was able to walk around Marina Bay under Singapore's scorching heat + attend a concert from 3PM-9PM + commute back to the hotel wearing these boots. I did get shoe bites so it needs some breaking in but following their size guide was definitely helpful! I wish Rob & Mara would make platform combat boots so that I can watch concerts without the need to tiptoe hehe!
I ordered Blake in Black and it was super comfortable to wear. After breaking in the boots, it became manageable to walk in it. The insoles are soft already but I added an arch support inside since I have a plantar fascitis.
The quality is top notch and you can mistake it with the English brand of boots. The stitching are well done and you can definitely see that it is a quality item.
I didn't give feedback right away kasi to see if the boots lived up to the website's reviews. This is my fifth pair from Rob & Mara, and the quality remains impressive.
I tested them in heavy rain (though not in Manila's severe floods) and my feet stayed safe and dry. They can feel a bit heavy, but that's normal for boots.
Tip: Wear thick socks to avoid blisters. 👍👌

When I finally received my Blake I was pleasantly surprised. I checked every stitch, the softness of the leather, the sole, the foot pad, the eyelets and laces. What can I say? It checked all the boxes. Then I finally put it on for the real test. Not bad! I’m a size 6 women in all of my shoes no matter what type and I was advised to get a 7. It’s roomy in the toe box, enough to make me wonder if I should’ve gotten a 6. But I went with it and wore them to the mall. I wouldn’t actually say no break-in needed because boots always need to be broken in. I did get a blister on the back of my left ankle after walking the mall a few rounds. I guess I should’ve tightened the laces or wore thicker socks, but it was as expected. They’re beautifully made and worth the price. I hope I get to wear it often enough. Thank you!

I've been wearing these boots for a little over a week I think? They were quite stiff at first, which is expected, but once they've been broken in a little more they feel so comfy and secure. I wear thick socks with mine and I could wear these boots for a whole day of walking at work and outside with friends. Tried wearing my usual socks the first few days I had them and they hurt my feet so bad 😅 so first time buyers, wear thick socks! But I think given time these boots will be the comfiest. If given the chance I will buy another pair in other styles in the future. I love these! Thank you Rob&Mara!
