Grabe! I've been eyeing to buy from Rob and Mara since 2020 pa! But because I know na hindi ko lang din magagamit palagi (because of COVID), I decided to wait. And thank heavens I waited because I got my 1st boots on sale and I used it for the 1st time during one of my favorite things to do--hosting! TOTOO ANG BALITA! Hindi na kailangan i break-in! I was standing, walking and dancing for about 5 hours and OMG no pain at all! Super happy with my 1st purchase and yes, this will definitely not be the last. Galing ng gawang Pilipino! More power to you Rob and Mara team!
These boots are more comfortable than H&M or Zara boots and definitely more affordable. I just wish you have half sizes. My feet size is 24 cm and ordered size 9, but even if I wear socks, it's a little bit too spacious which makes it quite uneasy for walking. Maybe you can give cork or something similar so we can adjust accordingly.

Bought this for my study abroad this October. Tried it and it was really comfortable, not heavy. I've been eyeing this item for quite some time now. I think the incoming rainy season is a good time to purchase one so I finally did. It's true that no break in is needed, I'm glad that I didn't get any blisters with this product. Although the toe allowance has some tightness feeling to it - I'm a size 7.5 so I got a size 8. But this will probably adjust more as I wear it. Thank you Rob & Mara!
My 6 months in review for Heron which I used as my primary footwear. But before we go to the product itself, I'd just like to praise the customer service of robandmaraph. I had an inconvenience with my purchase and they went an extra mile to get it resolved despite it not being their fault. Going to the product, the TL;DR is it's comfort and reliability with flare. I had no break in period, it was comfy from the get go, no blisters no nothing. I put it through the harshest public transpos of the metro, the wildest moshpits where stepping on each other's feet is the norm, I've walked kilometers and kilometers and it's still fully intact. The quality of the leather, even comfortably soft is still hard to scratch. The design style also deviates from the doc martens plague which is a huge plus for me. The cherry on top for me after 6 months is– it is indeed stitched to the sole, not just glued or cemented. I no longer have any worry or fear, I am assured I will be able to enjoy Heron for years the same way I enjoyed them for the last 6 months.
These shoes are super comfy and incredibly light! We literally walked the whole day at niagara park. Even had them wet from the cold shower of the hornblower ride. Its simply perfect for traveling and leisure walking. I couldn't be more grateful and proud of our Filipino shoe makers. Kudos to all of you!
