For years Ive been eyeing and waiting for the right moment to buy this boots from Rob and Mara. My heart is so happy, the wait is so worth it. But dont be like me dont wait for years. Its worth your money.
First, props to the staff for helping me get these boots before my planned event! I wore it twice in preparation for the said event just for break-in purposes.
It's my first time wearing boots! Now, I don't think I will be worrying about traveling to provinces for heritage tours during rainy days because the boots are snug and grips the ground easily, allowing me to walk through old church steps covered in algae.
I had 2 blisters on my left foot the first time I wore it, but that's to be expected. When the time came for me to use it for the event I planned on wearing it (which was the 3rd time I'll be using these boots), I can walk comfortably without any pain and you can easily see how soft it is. Basically, the break in required is relatively shorter compared to other closed shoes since it's really soft. I managed to run around on very old church grounds without any worries because of these 💖 Thank you, Rob & Mara!
I've waited for this moment to review kasi kailangan ko muna magtravel at iharabas ang boots ko in german winter. true enough, its rocking it! hindi siya ganun kabigat tulad ibang boots pero ang tibay ng sole niya. kung ang mga lakaran is 20k+ steps, this is not the proper footwear, but it gives a good warmth and protection in cold and wet season, definitely!

Love the shoes from Rob and Mara! I've been looking for snow boots for my upcoming trip and I'm so happy I came across Rob and Mara! Made from genuine leather but the price is more affordable. The craftsmanship is also at par with more expensive brands too!
I finally caved and bought their boots. I debated between black and brown. I like black but sometimes it can be too dark. I settled on the Amaretto, which is a dark brown. It arrived within a week to the Visayas.
The leather is soft, and doesn't need to be broken in. It's also very light. It looks well made. 👍 The sizing is also important to follow. It's best to measure your foot and check their size guide. 😊
Finally, I'm very excited to use it this rainy season! ❤️

I really love the boots that I got! As per the title of this review, Blake in Amaretto is my first ever leather boots, and I love everything about it. The size that I got is perfect (one size higher than my actual foot size) and it is very comfy to use. If there is anything I’d love to add, it is to have a longer set of laces (context: my legs are larger than the usual size so i was not able to tie the laces in ribbon style 🤣). Nevertheless, I love my boots!
Its soft and lightweight. Versatile.
But it needs some "break-in" so do not use it yet for long walks (1st time use) or your feet might get blisters.
